Dr. Michael A. Conteh is a holder of a PhD (Engineering Science) degree from the Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, USA, an MSc (Energy Studies) degree from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and BEng Degree (Mechanical Engineering) from Fourah Bay College (FBC), University of Sierra Leone (USL). He is the Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, FBC, USL and the Coordinator of the MPhil programme in Energy Studies. His primary research interests are in the fields of energy recovery and storage, reinforced composite materials, energy efficiency, renewable energies, and operations research and statistics. He is a practicing Engineer and a member of the Sierra Leone Institution of Engineers.
